The Truth – Part 2

When Lucifer (Satan) was finally cast out of heaven because of sin, he became a source of major problems on earth. His strategy was to cause problems by utilizing deception as a way for sin to enter this world. At the moment, he now patrols the earth seeking anyone he can destroy by way of deception.

In reference to Satan, in John 8: 44 Jesus says “… He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it” (KJV). Satan is a liar. When the Bible says he is the father of lies it means he is the source of all lies.

In John John 14:6 Jesus also says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (KJV). Jesus is the truth and if you have ever received him in your heart then it means you have the truth inside you. In reference to Satan, Jesus says that there is “no truth in him”. A liar has no truth in him. This means anyone who does not have Jesus Christ in his heart does not have the truth.

In 1 John 1:8 the Bible says, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” (KJV). Anyone who wants to have the truth within him must first deal with sin and Jesus has already paid the price for it. If he says that we are alright without the need of a savior, it means the truth is not in us. Those who come to Jesus find forgives and when forgiven Jesus makes his aboard within them. Have you ever been forgiven by Jesus? If you have, it means you have the truth inside you.
