The Holy Spirit

Every believer needs the Holy Spirit to be equipped for God’s mission. Now, who is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. Long before the Holy Spirit moved upon the face of the waters he had the plan of salvation only made possible through Jesus Christ. He is the third person of the trinity. The trinity has three persons who make up the one and only God. The persons are the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit always does the will of God.

During creation, whatever was spoken into existence came into existence because the Holy Spirit was at work. The Spirit of God manifested what God commanded to come into being. The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are one and they are always in perfect harmony. This harmony is what is key in what we do together here on earth. The level at which we agree with others determines what can be accomplished. When we walk in agreement with the Holy Spirit we accomplish more than what we can imagine.

This is the same Holy Spirit who was promised to be poured on all flesh. God is a generous God and this is evidenced by what he has done in giving his only begotten Son and pouring out his Spirit on us. What people may claim to possess is not really theirs. God created everything therefore everything belongs to him. The Son and the Spirit of God are precious to him, but he has given to us the precious gift of the Holy Spirit as a seal for our redemption.
