God’s Restoration – Part 2

Dina the daughter to Jacob had something of value as a young lady until she met Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite. Something of value was taken away from her when she was sexually violated by Shechem. God gave her something of value, but someone else  took it away. In John 10:10 the Bible says, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…” (KJV). Something was taken away from Dina Jacob’s daughter or King David’s daughter Tamar and something of valued could also have been taken away from you. In all this remember that God is a God of restoration. He will restore whatever is lost.

God makes all things new. Physically things may appear the same, but they will be very much renewed starting from the inside. In Joel 2:25 the Bible says, “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you” (KJV). God is a God of restoration. He makes all things new for those who turn to him. He can restore any sinner who turns to him and nothing is hard with God.

The Bible in 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, ”Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (KJV). When the Bible says that all things have become new it means it is a new beginning. God’s restoration changes things that are impossible to change.

In Psalm 23: 3 and 5 the Bible says that God will restore your soul and will leads you in his path of righteousness. It also says that he will continue to prepare his table before you in the presence of your enemies and anoint your head with oil and on top of that continue to fill your cup whenever it runs low. God cares about everything in your life. He loves you!

  1. A wonderful message Pastor Mubiana, as God tells us and as you confirmed with Scripture, when we come to heart repentance which means turning away from evil and doing good by the empowering of The Holy Spirit, we never need to be ashamed. God sent His army to rescue us, the Battle is His, those who do evil without heart repentance ,will reap what they sow and those who seek to harm us will have no strength, they will fail and fall away into further deviation, and so be judged.

But we are Spiritual Israelites the Children of the promise, regardless of our birth place, called by God’s mighty Name and indwelt by The Holy Spirit and our deliverance draws near as you shared Pastor Mubiana.

Romans 2:28-29 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Galatians 3:28-29 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the Promise.

Jesus said, we don’t have if we don’t ask but we need to believe we have received too, yes when we ask according to His will, meaning in agreement with Him, will we receive.

Luke 11:9-11 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.

    • Amen and amen! What you have shared about being Jews is great. I will have to dwell on that truth and see what the Lord will continue to show me. Thanks for sharing! May the Lord continue to bless you both with more insights. Glory to God!
