When Jesus was on his way to heal Jairus’ daughter someone came from the house announcing the death of the young girl. That message could have been devastating for Jairus because he was a father to that young girl. This was a life situation that really affected the whole family, but it was a little hard and different for jairus because he was the head of that family. It was his responsibility to find help and when he asked Jesus to help, Jesus willingly accepted and that was a start of a journey to victory lane.
Jairus had to call upon Jesus because he sensed that the battle was too big for him and his family alone. The first thing Jairus did when he found Jesus was to fall at his feet. Jairus humbled himself by throwing himself at the feet of Jesus. Any man who falls at the feet of Jesus will always win battles of life. When you fall at the feet of Jesus in humility, God will fight your battles and you will always be on your way to your victory lane.
The bad report that came when Jesus was on his way to Jairus’ house was really against Jesus. It was Jairus’ battle for sure, but in the real sense it was Jesus’ battle. The best Jairus did was to let Jesus fight his battle that day. This is the reason why victory is yours when you let God fight your battles. The Lord is a man of war and his name is excellent. He always wins and he will win for you. In Exodus 15:3 the Bible says, “The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name” (KJV). Talk about experience Jesus is got it. He fights battles and wins and yours can be one of them.
In the first war that was fought in heaven, God came out the victor. In Revelation 12: 7-9 the Bible says,”And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (KJV). Satan was defeated in that first war in heaven that is why he ended up on earth.
Whatever Satan says will always be aimed at discrediting God. Walk in agreement with God and you will overcome. Nothing is hard with God and nothing will be hard with you when you walk with God. In Amos 3:3 the prophet Amos asks a question and says, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (KJV). The answer is “no, they can not” if they are not in agreement, they can not walk together. We have to agree with God in order to walk with him and the New Testament has what we need to agree upon. It is our time to walk with Jesus just like Jairus did on his way to raising that precious girl.
