The Future

If you are in Christ then please hear what Jesus says. In John 14: 2 Jesus says, “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you”. Your future place is being prepared and it lacks nothing. In heaven all your needs are met.

It is in God’s plan that your tomorrow should be better than your today. The set of skills you have gained today are for your tomorrow because tomorrow has to be better than your today. Time takes you to your next day’s blessings as a taste of what he has for you in eternity.

God is preparing your place and it is full of blessings. Can you picture your future? Our earthly faculties may not be able to comprehend the glory of mansions in God’s house, but Jesus says it therefore it will and is being done. In Jeremiah 29:11 the Bible says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”. God is for you. When your enemies are thinking evil against you, God is thinking thoughts of peace. You are cherished by the creator of heaven and earth.

In 1 Peter 5: 7 the Bible says, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you”. Casting your cares upon him is done by prayer. Jesus Christ himself in Matthew 6:31 and 33 says, “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed…But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”. Your relationship with him is key in having a better future in time and eternity.

In prayer, tell him everything you realize you can not manage to change by yourself. We could not have had the promise of a place in heaven if Jesus had not died for us. What Jesus did for us to find forgiveness is an impossible work for any man to do, but Jesus did it for us. He did the impossible for us so that we can have a future that is full of blessings. He is the only one who could do it and he did it for us. Surely, he takes care of his own and now in Christ, we are blessed!
