A systematic approach to ministry can be effective and will help a lot of people. The big question is, what do we want people to experience? A minister can make it possible for people to have the experience they need by finding answers in the Bible and sharing revealed solutions in clear and well crafted ways. When mixed with faith, the people experience the good things God has for them in those very specific areas of life.
In the wilderness a large part of the nation of Israel missed it, but as we learn from the past, today we should not miss it. In Hebrews 4:2 the Bible says, “For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it” (KJV). Mixing what we hear on specific issues with faith leads to the manifestation of God’s blessings in areas of need.
Every believer in Christ is in full time ministry. Now, when you evaluate your ministry, would you say you you are reaching your goals or just drifting along? When you minister the word of God covering specific areas such as salvation, healing, deliverance and so forth, believe God will bless people in those areas. This gives a goal and it requires faith.
